East Moriches, NY (PRWEB) March 27, 2007 -- Deborah Brown-Volkman, noted career coach, author, speaker, radio and TV personality, announces the publication of her 5th book, "How To Feel Great At Work Every Day. A Six-Step Success Plan For Your Career."

"HOW TO FEEL GREAT AT WORK EVERY DAY" CONTAINS SIMPLE AND STRAIGHTFORWARD CONCEPTS.

This book is divided into sections.

*There are six steps to help the reader get their energy back and create a high-energy career success plan.

*There are tips, techniques, and suggestions written by experts.

*There are resources the reader can continue to use once they have finished reading the book and implementing its concepts.

*The book is a full package to help the reader obtain more energy in their career.

HAVING ENERGY IS CRUCIAL TO CAREER SUCCESS.

*When employees are tired, stressed, or burned out, they don't have the motivation to do things beyond what their job responsibilities entail.

*In the workplace, however, how employees feel is not always important to an employer or client.

*Employees have a job to do, and they have to do it regardless of their mood or energy level.

PERSONAL ENERGY IS AN IMPORTANT KEY TO CAREER ADVANCEMENT.

*If employees want to further their career by going back to school at night, energy in needed.

*If employees want a promotion, they need energy to develop a new idea or concept.

*If employees want a great life, they need energy to enjoy the company of their family and friends when not working.

*If employees want to lose weight, they need energy to get up early and exercise.

ENERGY HAS THE POWER TO TRANSFORM THEIR CAREER AND THEIR LIFE.

*When employees have energy, they can do things in their career that might otherwise be impossible.

*Employees can gain passion, power, and focus.

*Productivity increases.

*Procrastination is non-existent.

As a career coach, I speak to hundreds of people each year who are unhappy with their careers. When I ask them what they eat, how physically active they are, and how they handle stress, their answers do not surprise me. One by one, they tell me that they are not taking care of themselves. No wonder they are unhappy. How can they love what they do when they don't feel their best? How can they build momentum in their careers when they are tired? How can they fulfill their dreams when they don't have the energy to make it happen?

Every day I see what people do to themselves--not eating right, not sleeping enough, not exercising, working too much--without realizing the consequences. I understand that such behavior has become a way of life for many people, but I am saddened that they think that this is the only way to live. I wrote this book to help them.
